From 24-27 September, the Bus Display at InnoTrans 2024 will showcase the latest advancements in bus technology, including complete vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Held in the Summer Garden at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, the display allows trade visitors to explore new bus models and technologies, with live demonstrations on a 500-metre test course.
This year’s Bus Display will host ten exhibitors, including new companies and those already established in the industry.
ARTHUR BUS GmbH
ARTHUR BUS, a Munich-based company, will showcase the ARTHUR ZERO, a fuel cell-powered bus designed for urban public transport. Known for its low fuel consumption and extended range, the model aims to enhance both driver and passenger comfort.
This vehicle has been launched as one of the most fuel-efficient buses in the German-speaking market.
BYD
Making its debut at InnoTrans, China’s BYD will present three electric buses—the BYD B12, B13, and B18.
The BYD B12 is particularly noteworthy for its flexible, rapid charging capabilities and range of up to 600 km, making it suitable for high-demand routes.
BYD already has a strong presence in the electric bus market, with over 81,000 buses delivered worldwide.
Ebusco BV
From the Netherlands, Ebusco will display the Ebusco 3.0, a lightweight electric bus with a composite body structure.
Weighing just 9,950 kg, the Ebusco 3.0 boasts a range of up to 700 km and a lifespan of up to 25 years. The bus’s design includes integrated batteries in the vehicle floor, creating additional onboard space and the potential for solar panel installation.
Ikarus
This Hungarian bus manufacturer, established over 125 years ago, will participate in InnoTrans for the first time.
Ikarus will present two electric buses: the Ikarus 120e, a 12-metre city bus, and the Ikarus midi bus, an 8-metre model.
The exhibit will also showcase Ikarus’s collaboration with Siemens, featuring the latest e-Line current collectors.
K-Bus
Austrian manufacturer, K-Bus will exhibit the K-Bus Solar City, an urban electric bus with a lightweight stainless steel design. This low-floor bus, with no steps or platforms, is designed to carry up to 25 passengers and features components derived from the MB EQV/eVito series.
Mont-Ele
Mont-Ele provides comprehensive engineering and maintenance services for the transport sector.
This Italian company is experienced in integrated charging systems and will display its latest bus charging technology at InnoTrans 2024.
Ventura Systems
Ventura Systems will showcase its inward gliding door with integrated rubber seals and stroke action, which enhances comfort and safety by compensating for tilting vehicle floors.
Visitors can also experience a sliding door with acoustic warnings and obstruction sensors, promoting safety in urban transport.
Additional Exhibitors
Additional companies taking part in the Bus Display include Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane with a Mercedes Citaro C1, Polish manufacturer Neso Bus, and SBRS GmbH with electric bus charging infrastructure.
Beyond the Bus Display, notable bus-related products will also be showcased throughout the exhibition, including CRRC Corporation’s BusRapidTransit System and Daimler Buses’ electromobility solutions.
