A fleet of 24 new MAN Lion’s City 12C buses are set to enter operation in Budapest in the coming days.

The new buses will enter operation on ArrivaBus routes, including, amongst others, the 105 line serving the city centre.

Each bus has a seated passenger capacity of 27, with the entire fleet equipped with three doors, low floors and full air-conditioning, as well as modern passenger information systems.

The vehicles comply with the euro VIe environmental standard, and have been designed with equal opportunities and independence in mind.

Automatic door control and infrared sensors allow for hands-free opening entry and exit, with a camera system offering security monitoring throughout each vehicle.

Finally, the buses have all been equipped with a blind monitoring system, reversing camera, alertness monitor, sign recognition and pedestrian protection assistant help drivers.
