Wirral-based A2B Travel has boosted vehicle lifting capacity at its Prenton workshop after investing in a set of mobile column lifts from workshop equipment experts Totalkare.

The company operates a fleet of minibuses and coaches (8-37 seats), providing luxury hire services UK-wise from their Wirral base, and school travel services across their local catchment area.

Boosting Productivity

To help support the continued roadworthiness of A2B Travel’s fleet, the coach operator has been using Totalkare lifting equipment for several years. Now they’ve returned to Totalkare for an additional set of T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts to enable more vehicles to be worked on at once, boosting productivity as a result.

The T8DC cable-free mobile lift from Totalkare is easy to manoeuvre around the workshop and features adjustable forks to accommodate different wheel diameters. It can be used in configurations of four, six or eight columns, using radio synchronisation to lift in unison with a safe working load capacity of 7,500kg per column.

Comprehensive Service and Maintenance Contract

Jacquie Evans, Director at A2B Travel, commented:

We have been using Totalkare column lifts for a number of years now, and the new set will provide further lifting capacity and help us to maximise fleet capacity.

George Georgiou, Area Sales Manager for Totalkare, added:

A2B Travel are familiar with the advantages that come with Totalkare mobile column lifts in the workshop. By adding an additional set, they will benefit from increased flexibility and lifting capacity, with the peace of mind that knowing the equipment is covered by our comprehensive service and maintenance after sales contract.
