Timespace exhibited at and sponsored the May 2025 ALBUM event, hosted by longstanding Timespace-users, Nottingham City Transport.
Visiting fleet operators – many of them already Timespace customers – were shown the powerful new V700 Network Video Recorder and Timespace’s proprietary LANLink evidence-management platform.
Karen Heylen, Timespace Head of Communications, said:This year’s ALBUM was a fantastic opportunity for us. Visitors were particularly interested in our new V700, which builds on the reliability of our V400 and V600 digital video recorders – already trusted by many of the UK’s top bus and coach fleets. The V700 delivers outstanding image quality for vehicle CCTV systems, and is quickly being adopted by forward-thinking operators.
Timespace also demonstrated the comprehensive LANLink platform, with the valuable “live” features which enable operators to retrieve footage without waiting for the vehicle to return to the depot.
Key aspects of the LANLink platform include:
- remote download over mobile networks or WiFi
- live camera streams
- CCTV “health” information, allowing early fault-detection
- GPS vehicle tracking
Darren Marjoram, Operations Director, said:LANLink’s CCTV health overview allows fleet managers to ensure their on-board technology is operating correctly, and that footage from their Timespace CCTV systems is available when needed. The remote download tool makes it so simple to retrieve, view and share footage after an incident or accident.
ALBUM (The Association of Local Bus Managers) organises the annual event to bring together operators, suppliers, sponsors and speakers from across the UK bus industry. Timespace greatly values the opportunity to strengthen relationships in person, and looks forward to continuing its involvement as a sponsor and exhibitor at ALBUM.
