Alexander Dennis has announced an order from First Bus for the supply of 17 zero-emission buses.
The order consists of 12 Enviro200EV and five Enviro100EV buses, and will be completed in 2026.

The new buses will enter operation in the city of Bath and form part of a wider investment by First Bus in electric buses, as well as associated charging structure within the West of England.
Purchase of the buses and infrastructure was enabled by government funding provided from the Department for Transport’s Zero-Emission Bus Regional Areas (ZEBRA), which was secured through the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
Each Enviro200EV unit will measure in at 10.9 metres in length and offer capacity for 33 seated passengers, as well as five tip-up seats available whilst wheelchair and buggy bays are not in use.
The Enviro100EV, which is 8.5 metres in length and 2.35 metres in width, offers 26 seats and six tip-ups, and both sets of vehicles are powered by the Voith Electrical Drive System.
Rob Pymm, Commercial Director for First Bus Wales & West, said:They’ll bring quiet, clean and comfortable journeys for our customers, while helping to improve air quality.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming these new electric buses to Bath. They’ll bring quiet, clean and comfortable journeys for our customers, while helping to improve air quality and support the city’s sustainability ambitions. This investment marks another important step in our journey to a zero-emission bus fleet.
