Hitachi ZeroCarbon has launched a comprehensive suite of electric vehicle (EV) fleet management solutions to help streamline the transition to zero-emission buses.
The new platform, unveiled in London, is designed to support fleet operators at every stage of electrification—from initial planning to battery optimisation—offering an all-in-one service to reduce emissions and enhance operational efficiency.

With Europe-wide regulations mandating all new vehicles to be zero-emission by 2035, fleet managers face mounting pressure to electrify.
To facilitate this process, the platform features four core services:
- ZeroCarbon Fleet: Offers centralised charging and battery management to ensure fleet readiness, extend battery life, and unlock new energy revenue streams
- ZeroCarbon Charge: A 24/7 managed charging service with real-time alerts, live monitoring, tariff optimisation, and load balancing
- ZeroCarbon BatteryManager: Provides asset analytics to preserve battery health, extend lifespan, and protect residual value
- ZeroCarbon Strategy: Strategic consultancy to guide fleet managers through site assessments, financing options, and decarbonisation planning
Operators such as First Bus are already leveraging Hitachi ZeroCarbon’s solutions to optimise charging schedules and route planning.
