Karsan has delivered 6 new e-buses to Austrian public transit operator M. Partsch Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH.

The first Austrian order of its kind for the company; the 6 Karsan e-ATAK buses are set to enter operation on all four of Eisenstadt’s city lines.

The order marks the first Austrian e-bus delivery in Karsan’s history

The lines, which are referred to as Vitus, Georg, Martin and Fanny, offer a combined 129 stops throughout the city.

Delivery of the electric vehicles was handled by distributor NEKI Mobility GmbH.

Each Karsan e-ATAK e-bus measures in at 8 metres in length, has capacity for up to 52 passengers and is capable of reaching up to 300km on a single charge with the use of a set of BMW Li-Ion batteries on-board.
