Autobus Australia is preparing to launch the country’s very first integrated, purpose-built, off-road 4×4 bus – TRUBUS.
Engineered for the country’s mining conditions, TRUBUS has been built on Scania’s 4×4 chassis platform to allow for maximum structural adaptability.

Debuting at the Australasia Bus & Coach Expo in Sydney between 15–16 July; the vehicle is capable of carrying more than 40 seated passengers, allowing companies to transport entire crews in one run, reducing shift changeover time.
The vehicle has been designed to provide ground clearance and optimised approach angles on mine-site access roads, and features a single unified body design with both the driver’s cab and passenger section engineered as one single structure.
