Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has opened applications for a new bus pass granting young people aged 18-21 half price travel on the Bee Network.
The 18-21 pass will offer half price travel to those within the eligible age bracket, with a 28-day bus travelcard now costing 40 GBP for those with the pass.

The move is hoped to aid young people with an expiring 16-18 ‘Our Pass’, with digital applications now open via the Bee Network app.
Fatima Bangoura, Youth Engagement Officer at Youth Leads, said:Having the Our Pass when I was 16-18 meant that I could get to college without worrying about travel costs. It gave me the freedom to work, study, spend time with friends, and explore Manchester without the burden of thinking about how much every journey would cost.
The new 18-21 pass opens doors for those who may worry about losing that support once their Our Pass ends, making travel for training, apprenticeships, education and employment far more accessible.
Those applying for the new pass are required to prove their eligibility by providing proof of age and address in Greater Manchester, as well as pay a one-off 10 GBP administration fee.
Earlier this week, Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, announced a raft of updates to the Bee Network, including additional buses, cheaper travel and new 24-hour services.
