The Transport Operator of Wallonia (OTW) in Belgium has ordered 127 CROSSWAY Low Entry vehicles from IVECO Bus.

The buses are set to be deployed across both the Liège and Namur regions in two phases, with the first seeing the introduction of 83 units in Q1 2026 and the second seeing an additional 44 units delivered during Q1 2027.

The contract is the third signed between IVECO and OTW in the last two years.

Christophe Martin, OTW’s Rolling Stock Manager, said:

These buses will operate on suburban routes. Therefore, features that enhance passenger comfort—such as thermal comfort, low noise levels, a high number of seats, attractive aesthetics, and ease of use for all customers—are particularly important.

Measuring 12 metres in length, each bus will be capable of carrying up to 99 passengers with 37 seated. They will be equipped with air conditioning, USB ports, information screens and luggage racks.

The vehicles will be powered by a Cursor 9 engine, which is compatible with HVO and delivers 360 hp and comes coupled with a Voith gearbox.
