HIGER has unveiled three new electric V Series coaches at Busworld: two tourist coaches, the V12E and V12E Pro, as well as the intercity coach, V13E.

Unveiled during a launch event held at the show in Brussels; the company also highlighted the overall journey of its V range, as well as the need for a united EV infrastructure to advance the possibilities of the EV coach sector.

Highlighting its new 12.4-metre V12E Pro luxury coach; HIGER touts a range of 500 kilometres per charge, which is supported by a nitrogen-protected 399.91 kWh battery box.

The vehicle includes adjustable aisle seating and onboard entertainment screens. It offers a passenger capacity of up to 49+1 (wheelchair+1, up to 55+1+1).

Developed on the basis of a three-year programme built on full Integrated Product Development (IPD); the full new Higer V Series coaches covers lengths between 8 and 14 metres, as well as a number of propulsion options.

The V12E, a more standard medium- and long-distance coach, also offers similar design principles to its more luxurious model.

The V Series utilises a modular approach in order to improve & simplify overall maintenance, with a central front panel allowing straight forward access to interior components.

Finally, HIGER also unveiled its new 13.15-metre long V13E intercity coach, which comes in at 3.45 metre in height and come equipped with an extended luggage compartment door, as well asa pneumatic outward swing middle door.

Following Busworld; the first V13E units are set to be delivered to customers in France.
