At Busworld Europe, Irizar unveiled its new 100% electric coach: the Irizar i3 Normal Floor model.
The Irizar i3 Normal Floor has been designed to increase passenger and luggage capacity, featuring a reworked exterior with a more angular front. The model is a fully electric, zero-emission vehicle intended for intercity operations.

A key feature of the new version is its luggage space, which provides more than 7 m³ of capacity.
The vehicle offers a range of up to 450 km from a single daily charge, depending on operating conditions.

The Normal Floor i3 shares components with other Irizar models, with many external elements interchangeable with the i3 Low Entry. This commonality is intended to simplify spare parts management and support efficient maintenance and repair.
The model has been developed in line with the latest safety and regulatory requirements. It complies with the European GSR2 regulations, incorporating cameras and radar for driver and passenger safety. It also meets R155 and R156 standards relating to cybersecurity and software updates, and R29 crash safety requirements designed to protect occupants in frontal collisions.
The vehicle’s electronic architecture enables data analysis for diagnostics and preventive maintenance. The electrical and fuse unit is positioned in the driver’s area to provide easier access and to improve safety during roadside servicing.
