Carousel Buses has announced the launch of a new service connecting Slough and London.
The new 458 service will begin operation on 04 January, serving Slough, Langley, Iver and Uxbridge.

Launching alongside a number of improved services and timetables; the 458 service will see buses run up to every 30 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays, restoring a direct link between Trelawney Avenue and Uxbridge whilst providing faster travel between the latter and Iver.
The service will offer a connection with the Elizabeth line at Slough and Langley rail station, as well as numerous onward connections across London on the Underground network at Uxbridge.
Buses will drop off at Belmont Road and pick up from Stop O just outside the station.
Luke Marion, Managing Director at Carousel Buses, said:This is another excellent addition to our growing network and we’re pleased to be providing vital connectivity for people on the route.
Whether you’re travelling for work or leisure, we provide a cost-effective and reliable means of transport to key connector routes and destinations.
The launch of this new service is a great way to start 2026, as we look to continually expand and improve our services across the network.
Other changes we are making are improving reliability, meeting demand and creating new travel options for local communities.
As well as the introduction of the new 458 service; a new weekday 4A service will begin providing three journeys every day between Summerleaze and the town centre, and a new 8 service will provide frequent links between Maidenhead town centre, rail station, St Mark’s Hospital, Newlands Girls’ School and Halifax Road.
The 8 will operate every 30 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday daytime, and up to every hour through the evening and on Sundays.
Elsewhere, improvements have been made to the 15 service, which will now extend beyond Slough, Eton, Eton Wick, Dorney and Taplow to Maidenhead via the A4. Timetable revisions can now be found on the 10/10A, 15, 37/37B, 103 and 106/107 services in the Slough and Windsor area, whilst High Wycombe and South Buckinghamshire will see timetable changes to match demand on the 30, 31, 32, 32A, 33, 34, 36, 36S services, while there is revised routing on the 37 service, and punctuality improvements across other services.
