Alexander Dennis’s Enviro100AEV electric autonomous bus has won Vehicle of the Year at the Self-Driving Industry Awards 2025.
The vehicle received the designation during the Cars of the Future award show at the Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate, England.

The vehicle is currently being utilised in ongoing UK Government-funded projects including Connector, which will see the bus used to operate a trial passenger service in Cambridge, and AutonoBus, where it iill perform controlled track testing at SAE Level 4 under the supervision of a trained safety driver located in a remote control room.
Measuring 8.5 metres in length; the bus offers seating for up to 26 passengers and has been equipped with Fusion Processing Ltd’s CAVStar® automated drive system, which utilises AI and high-performance computing with radar, lidar and optical camera systems.
