At the 15th China Macau International Automobile Exposition, CRRC highlighted its ongoing work in commercial new energy vehicles, showcasing two electric buses.
Specifically, CRRC introduced a 12-metre low-floor electric bus designed around operational efficiency, passenger comfort and suitability for varied terrain. The vehicle provides improved interior space and visibility, aiming to support both daily commuter services and tourism-heavy routes.

Also on display was an 8.5-metre pure electric bus developed with Macau’s transport needs in mind. With the region’s high visitor numbers, the model incorporates a revised internal layout and flow management to support steady passenger movement. Digital and intelligent features are integrated to create a more modern onboard environment.

Beyond complete vehicles, CRRC presented examples of its full-chain innovation work, covering materials development and component technologies. Exhibits included electric drive systems, braking equipment and electrical connectors used in commercial vehicles.
The company also highlighted its research and applications in composite materials, which focus on reducing weight while maintaining strength, and improving heat and vibration resistance for use in demanding operational settings.
