DAF Components has announced it will showcase its mild-hybrid solution, which has been developed in collaboration with Voith and is currently in use across 110 city buses in Rome at this year’s Busworld Europe.
The company will also present its new PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 engine series at the exhibition in Brussels.

The drivetrain consists of a PACCAR MX engine and a mild-hybrid gearbox with an electric motor and aims to increase fuel efficiency by up to 15% in part due to a Start-Stop system.
DAF’s PACCAR MX-11 and PACCAR MX-13 look to provide low fuel consumption and longer maintenance intervals, and have been developed based on engines previously developed by the company for its New Generation DAF trucks.
The engines are also capable of running on HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) biodiesel.
DAF Components will be present throughout the show in Brussels at booth 619 in Hall 6.
