Two newly delivered Setra coaches are now in service in Germany, featuring interior designs adapted to their respective operators.
The vehicles have been supplied to the travel company Unser Roter Bus GmbH and to Bundesliga football club 1. FC Heidenheim 1846.

Unser Roter Bus GmbH, based in Ueckermünde in the state of Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania, recently took delivery of a Setra S 531 DT double-decker coach. The three-axle vehicle includes a 2+1 seating arrangement on the upper deck, providing 32 leather seats. Each seat is fitted with an individually controllable monitor system offering video and audio content.
The lower deck accommodates up to 16 passengers in a bistro-style area with leather seating. The ceiling lighting is designed to resemble a starry sky. The kitchen area is equipped with beer and water taps, several refrigerators, a convection oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a wine refrigerator. A toilet is located on a central platform near the rear entrance.

The coach is fitted with current driver assistance and safety systems available from the manufacturer and carries illuminated Setra lettering on the exterior. It is used for city tours, wine tours and longer round trips, including services in the Mediterranean region.
Separately, Omnibus Grötzinger GmbH has introduced a new Setra S 517 HDH for 1. FC Heidenheim 1846. The company has acted as the club’s exclusive bus and travel partner for many years. The new coach replaces the team’s previous vehicle, which had been in use for eleven years.

The S 517 HDH offers 32 seats for players, coaching staff and support personnel. Features include adjustable headrests embroidered with the club’s logo, a sound system and video screens. The interior also includes fold-down leg rests, retractable tables and lockable storage compartments. At the club’s request, the interior colour scheme reflects the team colours of red, blue and white.

The three-axle coach provides a degree of privacy through the use of perforated window film. Outside the football season, the vehicle is also used by Omnibus Grötzinger, based in Bartholomä in Swabia, for journeys within its regular travel programme.
