Solaris Bus & Coach has signed a new contract with Danish public transport operator AarBus for the delivery of 50 Solaris Urbino 18 electric buses.
The agreement, which was signed on 23 October, also includes an option for an additional 36 vehicles, with delivery of the initial buses scheduled for 2027.

Each of the Urbino 18 buses will be equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries with a total capacity of more than 700 kWh.
Delivery of the initial buses is scheduled for the first half of 2027, with the additional vehicles set to follow in 2028 should the option be exercised.
