Choosing the Right Display
Selecting the appropriate passenger information sign depends on the location, environmental factors, viewing distance and intended content. Several factors must be considered in order to determine which display technology and model is best suited for your project’s needs, including but not restricted to:
- Location – Identify where the signs will be placed.
- Environmental Factors – Consider the climate of the location and how it may effect the operation of the display. Even though they may technically be mounted indoors, displays near trains and other forms of transportation must be designed for easy washing and resistance to the intrusion of particles such as brake dust.
