Australasia Bus & Coach Expo 2022

Australasia Bus & Coach Expo 2022 will take place on 5-6 October in The Dome and Halls at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney, Australia.

The Expo will include two important social events, with a welcome function on Tuesday 4 October 2022 before the expo and an industry Gala Dinner on Wednesday 5 October 2022.

Executive Director of BusNSW, Matt Threlkeld said that BusNSW was excited to announce the new dates for 2022 after postponing the 2021 Expo due to COVID and the lockdown in Sydney.

“We believe the 12-month delay gives us the best opportunity to host a world class exhibition and optimise attendance,” Threlkeld said, “Transport for NSW is leading the way on the transition to zero emission buses and will be proudly supporting the Expo”

The COVID-safe event will involve displays covering more than 13,000 square metres, all under the one roof.

“We anticipate that there will be a strong focus on battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses, so the event will provide a great opportunity to showcase this technology,” Threlkeld said.

The Australasia Bus and Coach Expo alternates between Sydney and Melbourne every two years with the Sydney Expo being managed by BusNSW and the Melbourne Expo managed by BusVic.
