BUS2BUS Asia

A dedicated BUS2BUS Zone will feature for the first time at InnoTrans Asia 2027, taking place at Singapore EXPO from 7 to 9 September 2027. The zone sits within the Public Transport segment of the show and is designed to serve as a central meeting point for the bus and coach industry across the Asia-Pacific region.

InnoTrans Asia is organised by Messe Berlin, the company behind InnoTrans in Berlin, and represents the trade fair’s first expansion into the Asia-Pacific market.

Who Attends and Who Exhibits

The BUS2BUS Zone is aimed at bus manufacturers, transport operators, government representatives and industry decision-makers with an interest in the Asia-Pacific mobility market. Exhibitors at InnoTrans Asia as a whole already represent 30 countries, with around 30% of exhibition space booked more than a year ahead of the event’s premiere. Confirmed participants include Continental, HARTING Singapore Pte Ltd, Vossloh AG and Bozankaya, alongside national pavilions from Japan, Spain, Australia and Switzerland.

A German joint pavilion is also being organised with support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, in cooperation with AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry. Berlin and Brandenburg are additionally planning a partner pavilion.

Conference Programme

The BUS2BUS Zone will include a curated sessions programme, with industry thought leaders presenting research, trends and strategies focused on the future of modern buses and coaches. Key topics are expected to reflect the themes prominent at BUS2BUS Berlin 2026, where over 100 sessions addressed alternative propulsion, digitalisation, automation, new operating models and energy systems.

InnoTrans Asia covers railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction. It is intended to complement the Berlin-based InnoTrans, which is widely regarded as the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology. The Asia edition takes place at Singapore EXPO and is organised by Messe Berlin Asia Pacific.
