The Safety of Passenger Conference, concerning the safety of bus, minibus and tram passengers, takes place in Warsaw, Poland on 17-18 May 2022.

During the conference, the representatives of the leading manufacturers of buses, trams and equipment, as well as those offering intercity and tourist transport services, carrier associations, vehicle inspection and certification companies along with international experts and journalists, will discuss the threats to the safety of passengers and how to avoid them.

These threats include the influence of vehicle construction and equipment on the safety of all travellers including children, disabled people, pedestrians and cyclists, and will cover accident analysis, new developments and solutions.

The conclusions from these discussions are shared with authorities including, the European Commission, the United Nations, social organisations and other relevant institutions.

The European Conference during which carriers, manufacturers and eminent experts, with one common goal – Zero Fatalities – analyze and discuss:

  • Threat to safety of bus, minibus and tram travellers and possibility to eliminate dangers
  • Influence of vehicle construction and equipment on safety of travellers
  • Accidents and their consequences, the latest developments and solutions
  • Conclusions and recommendations coming from the discussion are sent to carriers, vehicle producers, organisations, journalists, trade portals and so on
