Smart City Expo World Congress 2026
The Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC26) returns to Barcelona on 3–5 November 2026, bringing together 27,000+ professionals from across the urban innovation ecosystem. Organised by Fira de Barcelona, the event is the world’s leading smart cities congress and a key platform for public transport operators, transit authorities and mobility planners addressing the future of sustainable urban mobility.

Public Transport and Bus at SCEWC26
Urban mobility is one of the congress’s seven core tracks, with a dedicated programme addressing how cities can shift passengers away from private vehicles and toward integrated, sustainable public transport networks. Bus, rail and multimodal transit feature prominently, with sessions spanning network planning, demand-responsive services, MaaS integration and zero-emission fleets.
The mobility programme is co-organised within the framework of Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress, a parallel event co-organised by Fira Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
