UK Bus & Coach Conference 2022 will take place ONLINE on 25-26 January 2022.

2021 was a momentous year for the bus industry with the publication of the UK Government’s National Bus Strategy, which set out the plans for more reliable, frequent and cheaper services for passengers. We also saw the coach industry begin to bounce back from an incredibly difficult 2020 as leisure travel began to return.

The 2022 conference, which will again take place online, is a chance for operators to tackle current issues head on and be challenged to think about how they can do things differently to ensure they are playing their part to deliver better services for passengers and the UK’s ambitious climate change targets.

Across the two day virtual conference, sponsored by Backhouse Jones, delegates will hear from industry experts and will have the chance to submit their own questions for discussion. Baroness Vere will be joining us again to discuss the Government’s vision for buses and coaches, and we will also hear from Shadow Transport Secretary Jim McMahon on what we can expect from a Labour government for bus and coach.

Announcing the conference dates, CPT’s Chief Executive Graham Vidler said:

“After the success of the 2021 UK Bus & Coach Conference I am delighted to confirm that the dates for the second conference are 25 and 26 January 2022.

“We will again hear from bus and coach industry experts, and we will also be joined by experts from outside the industry, who can share their experiences from their own sectors, to see if their lessons learned can be applied to the bus and coach industry.

“The 2022 conference is a chance for operators to tackle current issues head on and be challenged to think about how they can do things differently to ensure they are playing their part to deliver better bus services for passengers and achieve the UK’s ambitious climate change targets.”
