First Bus has announced new investments of almost 1 million GBP into a set of Mercedes-Benz vehicles for Anderson Travel.
The move is expected to support the continued growth of the operator’s specialist coach business, and will see London-based Anderson Travel receive two 53-seat Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches, two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses and a new 19-seat executive minibus.
Anderson Travel currently offers premium coach and minibus services for schools, businesses, sports teams, tour operators and private hire customers. The business works closely with schools across the capital, supports a number of football teams (including Leyton Orient and AFC Wimbledon), and partners with tour operators to provide transport for both domestic and international visitors.
Each of the new Mercedes-Benz vehicles has been fitted with luxury leather seating, USB charging points, climate control and a range of enhanced comfort and safety features. The Tourismo coaches also feature onboard washroom facilities in an effort to accommodate longer-distance journeys and touring work.
