RATP Dev has announced the sale of its sightseeing operations in both London and Bath to FirstGroup plc – effective immediately.
The transaction will see First Bus enter the sightseeing market for the first time.
The two companies have signed a 12-month-long Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) to ensure seamless continuity for all employees, partners and customers, which will see the business continue to operate under RATP Dev’s Tootbus brand whilst transitioning to First Bus leadership.
Tootbus UK forms part of RATP Dev’s international bus sightseeing business, which also conducts operations in Paris and Brussels.

The acquisition also includes all 190 of RATP Dev’s employees, all of which will now begin working for First Group.
