FlixBus is set to increase its presence in the South of England through an expanded partnership with Dorset-based operator Excelsior.
The collaboration, which first introduced FlixBus services to the region in May 2025, will add vehicles to the network ahead of the spring season.
As part of a long-term agreement, two new Yutong GT12 coaches built to FlixBus specifications will join Excelsior’s FlixBus-branded fleet, which already includes four Temsa HD12 vehicles.

Since entering the UK market in 2021, FlixBus has significantly expanded its network, connecting over 80 destinations nationwide last year. Further growth is planned in 2026 through new partnerships and the extension of existing collaborations.

Excelsior, which is part of the Go-Ahead Group, provides corporate and private hire, school transport, and coach services across Dorset, Devon, Hampshire, and London. The company will continue recruiting drivers in Poole and Bournemouth to support its growing FlixBus operations.
