The new FlixBus network will be spread across five Mexican states, connecting key cities including Mexico City, Monterrey, Torreón, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Matehuala, providing transport across more than 1600 destinations in the United States and Canada.

Current Monterrey services are provided by Greyhound, which operates as part of the Flix North America network following its acquisition of the company in 2021.

André Schwämmlein, Flix founder and CEO, said:

We are excited to expand our Latin American footprint. After successful launches in Brazil and Chile, Mexico will be the third Latin American country with green buses. In partnership with local businesses, we will change the way people travel by offering a more digitized and affordable experience.
