FlixBus has launched ticket sales for new coach services between Stansted Airport and central London under a partnership with airport transfer operator Flibco.

Flibco began operating the route on 9 April, offering daily services between Stansted Airport, London Liverpool Street, and Stratford. The service follows Flibco’s successful bid for a five-year contract awarded by Manchester Airport Group (MAG) earlier this year.

Under the new collaboration, tickets for the Flibco-operated service are now available through the FlixBus website and mobile app. This forms part of FlixBus’s ‘marketplace’ model, where the company integrates independent operators into its booking platform.

Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, said:

Our bold expansion plan this summer includes this airport shuttle partnership with Flibco, to offer an even broader range of travel options on the Flix platform.

Alongside the FlixBus network growth with our operator partners, we are now adding Stanstead Airport as a destination for our customers, which will strengthen our footprint in the UK market and accelerate our journey towards market leadership.

The move builds on FlixBus’s continued investment in the UK market, where it has been steadily building its domestic coach network since launching operations in 2020.
