FlixBus has announced an expansion of its Yorkshire services via a partnership with FirstGroup-owned coach operator J&B Travel.

The expansion looks to build on previous collaborations between FlixBus and First Bus and support continued network growth across the North of England ahead of the summer travel period.

The partnership will see three new FlixBus-branded Scania MOBIpeople vehicles join the FlixBus UK network through J&B Travel this April, adding to the 11 vehicles included in the partnership expansion announced last year and bringing FlixBus’s First Bus operated fleet to 37 vehicles nationwide.

All new vehicles will feature FlixBus’ green branding, as well as a wealth of onboard amenities including free Wi-Fi, charging points and comfortable seating.

Andreas Schorling, Vice President West Europe at FlixBus, said:

We have fantastic partnerships with First Bus and J&B Travel, and we are delighted to continue growing together this year.

In just five years, FlixBus has scaled rapidly across the UK, and our network continues to expand while maintaining high-quality service for passengers.

First Bus now operates FlixBus services from depots in Berkshire, Bristol, Somerset and Yorkshire.
