The new partnership aims to promote UK tourism to Rajasthan

The coach will enter service between London and Cambridge, as well as key routes across India including Dehradun–Haridwar–Delhi–Jaipur.

Mr. Rakesh Dahiya, First Secretary (Trade, Tourism & OCI) at the High Commission of India to the United Kingdom, said:

On behalf of the High Commission of India, London, I would like to congratulate both FlixBus and Rajasthan’s Department of Tourism, for the launch of this visionary and very memorable initiative.

The flag-off of this heritage-themed FlixBus service is not only a promotional event, it is a celebration of Rajasthan’s rich culture and rich heritage. The linkage of a QR code to the Department of Tourism’s website is a brilliant touch, blending tradition and technology. Let the wheels roll and let Rajasthan’s story travel far and wide in the UK.

The first 100 FlixBus passengers arriving in Jaipur will also receive free entry to the Albert Hall Museum as part of the new collaboration.

Surya Khurana, Managing Director, FlixBus India, said:

We have been working closely with the Rajasthan government since the visit of Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Ms Diya Kumari, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan to FlixBus HQ in Munich last year.

This partnership is a testament to FlixBus India’s commitment to making Rajasthan’s artistic and historic legacy accessible to travellers from near and far.

FlixBus first launched in India in 2024 and now operates over 220 bus services across the country.

Andreas Schorling, Senior Managing Director for FlixBus UK, said:

Coach travel connects people to new places, as well as fresh perspectives and global heritage. Flix’s global reach allows us to celebrate reliable, sustainable and affordable transport not just here in the UK but around the world.
