Oberbergische Verkehrgesellschaft (OVAG) has ordered 15 hydrogen-powered buses from Solaris Bus & Coach for operation in Gummersbach, Germany.

The Urbino 12 hydrogen buses, designed to operate with zero emissions, are slated for delivery in 2025.

The 15 Urbino 12 hydrogen buses will be equipped with fuel cells to provide a total power output of 70 kW.

These buses will also feature Solaris High Power traction batteries, which are designed to support the fuel cells during periods of peak electricity demand.

Meanwhile, the central electric motor, rated at 160 kW, will drive the vehicles, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
