Albert Rapp Autoverkehr Will Be Relying on Seven New LE Business Vehicles from Setra

The bus company Albert Rapp Autoverkehr has expanded its fleet with seven Setra MultiClass low-entry intercity buses. The five two-axle S 415 LE Business and the two three-axle S 418 LE Business vehicles will be used in the district of Schwarzwald-Baar on the route from Villingen to Triberg. The vehicles, each with 45 or 57 seats, have wheelchair ramps and free WiFi on board.

With the acceptance of 7 new vehicles, the company will have 21 Setra buses in its fleet.

In addition, the vehicles are equipped with high-performance particulate filters that were developed by Daimler Buses for protection against coronavirus infections and will filter out up to 99 percent of particulate material in the interior using an antiviral functional layer. With the acceptance of the seven new vehicles in Neu-Ulm, the family-run business from Königsfeld in the Black Forest will have 21 Setra buses in its fleet.

In addition to operating local public transport lines, the company, which is now in its third generation and has 70 employees, also offers rental transportation for clubs and school classes. The fleet includes five touring coaches, all of them Setra ComfortClass vehicles.
