At Busworld Europe, BYD introduced its latest electric articulated bus model: the B18.b.
The model is powered by the BYD eBus Platform 3.0, which features enhanced Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) technology with thin Blade Batteries integrated into the chassis.
The model has a 630-kilometre range on a single charge and can carry up to 146 passengers.
The model is offered with a battery capacity of up to 746 kWh. It also incorporates Ctive Suspension Control, with electronically-controlled CDC shock absorbers to provide a comfortable ride.
The B18.b also offers flexible charging options, with a single gun capable of up to 300kWh and a maximum charging power of 600kWh when using a pantograph. This means the vehicle can be recharged from 20% to 100% in less than 2 hours.
