Last month, Irizar Group unveiled its new Irizar i3 Class II electric bus at the 2024 International Bus and Coach Fair (FIAA) in Madrid.
This latest addition to Irizar’s electric mobility portfolio is tailored to meet the demands of intercity and suburban routes.
The Irizar i3 Class II is equipped with a modular battery system that allows for customisable range configurations. The bus can also be configured with overnight charging or pantograph charging, giving operators flexibility based on infrastructure and route requirements.
The new model is also designed to enhance passenger comfort and accessibility, featuring a spacious, low-floor interior and ample seating.
What’s more, the bus integrates Irizar’s latest safety technology, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Furthermore, it offers real-time monitoring and diagnostic capabilities to ensure optimised performance and minimal downtime.
The Irizar i3 Class II electric bus joins the company’s existing line-up of zero-emission vehicles, which includes the Irizar ie tram and ie bus models.
