Irizar e-mobility has been chosen to deliver eleven new electric buses for operation in Luxembourg.

The order, which is in addition to a previous order of twenty-one vehicles awarded to the company in 2019, will see Irizar deliver nine 12-metre and two 18-metre buses to local transport operator Emile Weber in late 2025.

The new order builds on a previous delivery of vehicles from Irizar
Iñigo Etxeberria, Irizar e-mobility Managing Director, stated:

Emile Weber is an important client in the history of Irizar e-mobility, because they were one of the first operators who put their trust in our electromobility solutions back in 2018, when we had barely manufactured a hundred vehicles.

We’re very grateful they are putting their trust in us again. And we hope to keep collaborating and building a better world together for many more years.

Equipped with Irizar’s own 3.0 batteries, the 100% electric buses will be manufactured to meet GSR2 safety standards, and come fitted with a new and improved drive train.
