IVECO BUS has signed a set of three framework agreements with Île-de-France Mobilités for the supply of up to 4,000 clean buses and coaches over a seven year period.

The agreement, which extends through to 2032, will see deliveries of a number of GX 337 ELEC, URBANWAY CNG, and CROSSWAY CNG models for use in the region outside Paris.

Concluded through the Public Transport Procurement Organization (CATP); the agreements have been divided into three lots covering the supply of standard 12-metre electric buses, biogas-powered 12- and 18-metre buses, and 12-metre interurban biogas-powered vehicles.

The first delivery will consist of 154 GX 337 ELEC and 415 URBANWAY CNG biogas buses (12 and 18 meters) and begin in 2026.

The new vehicles will join Île-de-France’s current fleet, and play a major role in the support of Île-de-France Mobilités’ transition to green energy.

Valérie Pécresse, President of Île-de-France Mobilités, said:

With this new order of 4,000 vehicles, we are on the verge of achieving this tremendous project of making Île-de-France the first region to convert all its buses and coaches to clean energy. I am also delighted that, with IVECO BUS, we support and sustain a French industrial sector.
