A recent assessment of National Express demonstrated total compliance with all ISO 45001 requirements with zero non-conformances.

Javier Martinez Prieto, Managing Director for National Express UK Coach, said:

The ISO 45001 certification marks a significant milestone in our efforts to continually improve health and safety across our organisation and reflects the hard work that our teams put in to keep safety at the heart of everything that we do.

Operating the UK’s biggest scheduled coach network means that we have hundreds of vehicles on the road each day, with many colleagues and partners helping to maintain the highest levels of safety and performance that we are known for.

To receive certification to ISO 45001 standard; organisations are required to undergo a rigorous multi-stage assessment of a number of areas of workplace health and safety, including operational risk controls and management, leadership, safety awareness and regulatory compliance, as well as continual performance evaluation.
