Bus Monitor is designed to optimise public transport operations by providing real-time data monitoring and proactive maintenance alerts.

The system continuously collects data through a telematics device integrated with the vehicle’s Fleet Management System (FMS), enabling operators to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure uninterrupted service.

The Bus Monitor system is being provided to Carbus for use in Coimbra, Portugal. This order accompanies the delivery of 10 e-KENT buses.

Kerem Erman, Head of Otokar Commercial Vehicles said:

As a long-time exporter of vehicles, we are thrilled to bring our technological solutions to international markets. Recently, we delivered 10 e-KENT public transportation buses to the Portuguese Carbus for use in the city of Coimbra. Alongside this delivery, we will provide Bus Monitor services for these buses over the next two years. At Otokar, we are committed to taking innovative steps in technology exports, and we will continue to promote Bus Monitor as part of our strategy to strengthen our global presence.
