Maintenance and repair provider, R&A Transport Services has recently upgraded their workshop with mobile equipment from Totalkare, including a mobile brake tester and set of mobile column lifts.
The move is set to enhance the company’s efficiency, safety, and overall repair and maintenance capabilities, allowing R&A Transport Services to continue delivering great service to its clients.
The T8DC cable-free mobile column lift provides flexibility, ease of use, and enhanced safety features, offering lifting capacity of up to 7,500kg per column. Investing in a set of T8DC column lifts will add greater flexibility to R&A Transports in-house maintenance capabilities due to the adjustable forks – which allow the operator to accommodate a variety of wheel diameters – and the ability to connect the lifts in configurations of 4, 6 or 8 columns. Totalkare’s mobile column lift system is also designed to be easily moved around the workshop, making it an ideal lift for various workshop environments.
Totalkare’s TK90 mobile brake tester will allow R&A Transport to proactively address maintenance needs, reducing downtime and preventing costly breakdowns. The DVSA-approved mobile brake tester can be supplied with a range of features, giving a high level of customisation to meet your specific workshop requirements. It is suitable for testing all vehicles up to an axle load of 16,000kg as standard. However, for heavier axle loads, this can be upgraded to a maximum axle load of 20,000kg.
Additionally, the mobile brake tester includes a tablet interface that allows users to control and monitor test results directly on a handheld unit. The tablet uses a virtual display to show all the test readings and a touchscreen-based remote control, enabling brake tests to be conducted from the driver’s seat in a matter of minutes.
R&A Transport has also secured a comprehensive service contract with Totalkare, ensuring that all equipment remains in peak operating condition. This will minimise downtime and ensure that maintenance services remain seamless.
