The Singapore International Transport Congress and Exhibition (SITCE) will once again bring together prominent urban land transport professionals and international experts from 6 – 8 November 2024 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Jointly organised by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), UITP (the International Association of Public Transport), and LTA’s subsidiary, MSI Global Pte Ltd (MSI), SITCE is the leading congress and exhibition on urban mobility for the Asia-Pacific region.
Themed ‘Smarter Journeys for Sustainable Cities’, SITCE 2024 will provide a platform for sharing insights and best practices as well as forging partnerships to build a smarter, more inclusive, and sustainable land transport environment. Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance will deliver the opening speech.
Over the three-day event, more than 100 experts and moderators will present and discuss strategies, innovations and technologies that address challenges in the land transport industry as well as the future of urban mobility.
More than 5,000 transport officials and professionals from over 30 countries/regions are expected to attend SITCE 2024. More than 100 local and international exhibiting companies will also be showcasing technologies, solutions, and services for urban transport.
Ng Lang, LTA’s Chief Executive, said:The future of mobility goes beyond addressing urban congestion. It also focuses on achieving net-zero targets and meeting the diverse needs of commuters as cities embrace new transport modes and innovative technologies. SITCE offers an exciting opportunity to explore transformative and collaborative solutions that will shape the future of transport — creating more connected, sustainable, and resilient cities for future generations.
Renée Amilcar, UITP President, said:With this year’s theme ‘Smarter Journeys for Sustainable Cities’, SITCE will explore key issues such as sustainability, accessibility, and smart technology in urban transport. Public transport must continue to evolve, and by addressing the challenges, and raising the solutions, we can best meet the needs to move public transport forward alongside the key experts who will gather in Singapore this November.
