Over the year, the company introduced new product developments, including the mass production of the Urbino 18 electric bus with a modular drive. Work also continued on cybersecurity measures and compliance with UN regulations, ensuring its vehicles meet modern digital security standards. Additionally, Solaris advanced research to support its expansion into the North American market.
Crucially, Solaris reinforced its commitment to sustainability in 2024. It became the first manufacturer to implement a battery passport for an electric bus, introduced three years ahead of European regulations. The initiative promotes transparency in battery life cycles and responsible resource use. The company also continued environmental assessments of its vehicles and published its fourth sustainability report.
