Solaris Bus & Coach has received an order from the Ministry of Transport for the Sarajevo Canton for 10 of its Trollino 18 trolleybuses.

The vehicles, which measure in at 18-metres in length, are set to be delivered in mid-2026, and were paid for in collaboration with the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Each bus will be fully electric and equipped with batteries allowing the coverage of distances of up to 20km without the need to connect to an overhead catenary system.

The order will see Solaris’ first foray into both Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the company’s presence now spanning across 36 countries internationally.
