Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) has ordered 38 zero-emission hydrogen buses from Solaris.

This order includes 36 Urbino 12 and two articulated Urbino 18 hydrogen buses, with deliveries scheduled for 2024.

These units will join over 130 Solaris buses already owned by TMB.

For passenger comfort, the new buses will offer air conditioning and USB ports.

Meanwhile, technological solutions will assist the driver in offering a safe and reliable ride. For example, the eMirror system will provide cameras in the place of conventional side-view mirrors and Mobileye Shield+ will minimise the risk of colliding with pedestrians or cyclists.
