Stagecoach has secured a 5-year contract to take over public transport operations in Guernsey from 1 April 2025.

Under this contract, the company will to manage the island’s transport network, supporting approximately 1.5 million passenger journeys each year.

Stagecoach South West will run 20 core public bus routes and 24 school service routes, enhancing connectivity for both residents and visitors.

To deliver these operations, Stagecoach will welcome 73 existing employees who will transfer to the company, ensuring continuity of service for the local community.

Stagecoach will begin the process of transitioning operations in the coming months, ensuring that Guernsey continues to benefit from a dependable public transport system.
