Yellow Window’s mobility expertise originates in bus and coach design, with the company’s founder Axel Enthoven starting his design career of at Van Hool. Ever since, the studio became renowned for original and innovative designs, transforming ‘boxes on wheels’ into icons as Bova’s Futura and Magiq, the architectural Mont Saint Michel shuttle busses for Veolia, or the timeless VDL Jonckheere coach and Citea bus. Beyond Europe, Yellow Window designed for e.g. Temsa, Oghab, Zongtong bus and SC Auto.
Alstom’s Aptis and Yangtse Dongfeng bus platforms mark the studio’s innovation in electric busses, today continued in new E-bus developments in Asia. Having always been active in seating design, recent Yellow Window designs are currently being introduced by Ster and Compin Fainsa.
