Electrification Solutions for Every Vehicle – ZF Electrifications Systems Include More Than the Driveline
The electrification of the driveline can no longer be stopped. Fully electric and hybrid electric drivelines are the key to ensuring transport and logistics services can be provided in the future, especially in urban areas. To achieve this, ZF develops and supplies core components and complete systems for all vehicle types.
From light vans to city buses to heavy duty trucks – ZF offers a wide variety of systems for electric drivelines. In this context, the company’s range of products covers every stage of electrification. The hybrid module of the ZF 8P automatic transmission is available both in a mild version with an additional 20 kW of electric power and with 90 kW for driving completely electrically. Electric rear axle modules such as AxTrax AVE (trucks, buses) can replace a conventional rear axle in existing vehicle platforms and make emission-free driving possible. CeTrax is a central electric drive specially developed for commercial vehicles.
Buses with electric drives can already significantly reduce the level of pollution and noise in urban areas. Electric drives from ZF, such as CeTrax and AxTrax AVE, allow clean and electric drives to even be used on the basis of existing platforms.
