Svealandstrafiken and Saga Tenix Begin Collaboration on a Pilot Project for Charging Management and Optimisation for Electric Buses in Västerås

Svealandstrafiken has signed an agreement for a maximum two-year pilot project for Tenix Charge as its system for managing and optimising the charging of its fleet of electric buses in Västerås.

With Tenix Charge, Svealandstrafiken gains an efficient and smart solution to ensure stable and cost-effective operation of its electric vehicles.

Johan Agemalm, System and Development Manager at Svealandstrafiken, says:

We look forward to implementing Tenix Charge and leveraging its features to optimize the charging of our electric bus fleet. With a solution that considers both energy costs and operational needs, we can increase efficiency and ensure reliable public transport for our passengers.

Tenix Charge is an advanced charging platform that enables intelligent management and optimisation of charging based on real-time data, energy prices, and vehicle needs. Through this solution, Svealandstrafiken can minimise peak power loads, optimise energy use, and ensure the reliability of its operations.

Torbjørn Krøvel, CEO of Saga Tenix, says:

We are proud to collaborate with Svealandstrafiken and contribute to more sustainable public transport in Västerås. Tenix Charge provides transport companies with the tools they need to address the complex challenge of charging electric buses in an economically and environmentally sustainable way.

The implementation of Tenix Charge on Svealandstrafiken’s charging infrastructure in Västerås has already begun and is expected to be fully operational shortly.
