T&B Containers has invested in new vehicle lifting equipment from workshop equipment experts Totalkare, taking delivery of four G9DC wireless washbay mobile column lifts along with two axle stands.

The acquisition will support the company’s fleet maintenance by enabling safe lifting and servicing of heavy vehicles in outdoor washbay environments.

Totalkare Washbay Column Lifts

The G9DC is Totalkare’s latest mobile column lift, engineered specifically to withstand wet and challenging conditions. Each column is hot-galvanised for maximum corrosion resistance and fitted with sealed bearings to prevent water ingress, ensuring reliability over a long service life.

With a lifting capacity of 8,000kg per column and wireless communication for hassle-free operation, the G9DC can be configured in sets of up to 48 columns, providing exceptional flexibility. Adjustable wheel forks allow for a wide range of wheel sizes, and the hydraulic system delivers smooth and dependable lifting without the need for permanent installation.

For T&B Containers, the new lifts will streamline workshop processes by allowing vehicles to be cleaned and serviced in the same space. The two axle stands further extend the functionality, offering additional safety and stability when vehicles are raised.

Adam Wattam from T&B Containers commented:

These new Totalkare lifts will make a big difference to how we manage our fleet. The ability to use them outdoors in washbay conditions means we can carry out servicing and cleaning more efficiently, while maintaining high safety standards.

Oliver Newman, Area Sales Manager at Totalkare, said:

We’re very pleased to see T&B Containers investing in our G9DC washbay lifts. Their combination of strength, reliability and water resistance makes them a fantastic choice for any operator needing to carry out vehicle maintenance in outdoor environments.
