Totalkare is thrilled to participate in Euro Bus Expo ’24, taking place at Birmingham NEC from 12-14 November 2024.
As the premier event for professionals in the UK bus and coach industry, Euro Bus Expo provides an ideal platform for exploring the latest advancements in technology and equipment for the sector.
Totalkare will showcase a broad range of workshop solutions to support efficient and reliable maintenance, from mobile column lifts to heavy-duty tyre changers. Here’s an overview of the highlighted equipment attendees can expect to see at the Totalkare stand:
T8DC Mobile Column Lifts
The T8DC mobile column lifts will be demonstrated at Euro Bus Expo #24, showcasing their adaptability and cost-effectiveness. Available in cable-free and cabled options, each column can lift up to 7,500kg and is fitted with adjustable forks to support various wheel diameters.
The system is configurable in sets of four, six, or eight, making it suitable for light commercial vehicles as well as larger buses and coaches. With features like mechanical locks and automatic synchronisation, the T8DC lifts provide a safe, reliable solution for lifting heavy-duty vehicles in a busy workshop.
Vehicle Inspection Pit
Totalkare’s CE-certified vehicle inspection pits provide efficient, secure access to the underside of buses and coaches for repairs and inspections. Each pit is pre-fabricated from high quality steel to client specifications, including length and optional tunnels, ensuring compatibility with various workshop setups.
Built with reinforced materials and an anti-slip surface, these pits prioritise technician safety while enhancing operational efficiency. Optional features, like integrated lighting and drainage, further improve working conditions, making the pit a versatile and durable solution for complex maintenance tasks, particularly where underbody access is frequently required.
NAV101 Heavy Duty Tyre Changer
The NAV101 heavy-duty tyre changer on show at Euro Bus Expo ’24 is designed for ease and versatility, handling a wide range of tyre sizes, including those on buses and coaches. Built for efficient in-house operation, the NAV101 reduces costs and enhances productivity by allowing workshops to manage tyre changes without outsourcing. Its hydraulic-powered mechanisms assist with lifting, fitting, and removing heavy tyres, minimising physical strain on operators.
Robust and reliable, the NAV101’s advanced safety features, including secure tyre clamping, make it an ideal tool for improving efficiency and workflow in a high-demand workshop setting.
Mobile and In-Ground Brake Testers
Totalkare’s brake testers — mobile and in-ground — provide a thorough and precise method for ensuring brake safety. The DVSA-approved mobile brake tester allows quick and portable testing for vehicles up to 18,000kg axle load, and its included computer and tablet enable single-operator testing directly from the driver’s seat.
Totalkare’s in-ground brake tester, ideal for a permanent setup, integrates with the workshop floor for efficient brake checks as part of regular inspections. Each brake tester is designed for high accuracy and longevity, ensuring buses and coaches meet rigorous safety standards before heading out on the road.
Wheel Alignment and Balancer
Totalkare’s wheel alignment system and balancer will also be on display at Euro Bus Expo ’24, and work together to enhance vehicle performance by extending tyre life and improving handling. The alignment system’s versatile design works with any workshop configuration—floor, pit, or lift—making it a practical choice for workshops of any size.
With a user-friendly interface, it ensures quick, precise alignment for optimised productivity. The wheel balancer complements the alignment system, reducing tyre wear, vibrations, and enhancing ride quality. Together, these tools are essential for maximising vehicle efficiency, ensuring a smooth ride, and reducing maintenance costs across bus and coach fleets.
Additional Workshop Tools
Totalkare’s stand will also feature essential tools, including wheel dollies, trolley jacks, smoke meters, headlamp testers, axle stands, and transmission jacks. Each tool is designed for durability and efficiency, making them indispensable for workshops focused on quality and safety. These tools support a wide range of maintenance needs, from basic checks to complex repairs, helping technicians provide comprehensive service while ensuring the safety and longevity of large vehicles.
Steve Braund, Totalkare’s Marketing Manager, shared his enthusiasm for the show:Euro Bus Expo is an excellent opportunity to engage with the UK bus and coach industry.
